Areas of focus

Level 1 – Throwing mechanics, balance, building velocity, developing touch, footwork, self-correct techniques, pocket performance, mobility throwing, center exchange, ball-handling techniques.

Level 2 – All of level one plus identifying and understanding coverage schemes, multiple route throwing skill development, offense specific training, advanced footwork, pocket performance drills and leadership training.

About Coach Horn

Marty Horn is the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Madison High School in Madison, NJ.  Coach Horn has been part of a coaching staff that has won three consecutive NJ Group II North II state championships, has had a record-setting 39 game winning streak, run offense’s that have averaged over 42 points per game three times in seven seasons and has coached several outstanding quarterbacks at Madison including Matt McHale (Lehigh), an All-State selection in ’10, and Carson Lassiter (Cortland), an All-State selection in ’12. In his playing days, Coach Horn played quarterback at Millburn High School from 1978-1980 earning All-Suburban Conference honors twice, and at Lehigh University from 1982-1985 starting 37 games in his career and throwing for over 9200 yards and 62 TDs and earning All-America honors twice.  Horn signed free agent contracts with the New York Jets in ’86 and ’87 and the Philadelphia Eagles in ’87. Coach Horn is a highly experienced QB trainer having worked with dozens of quarterbacks for over 20 years including quarterbacks who have played in youth, high school and college programs in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.
